Solar cooling

Solar cooling is based on the idea to combine solar thermal collectors with a system which is able to change solar energy into cold.

Where as solar heat drives a high efficiency absorption chiller to deliver chilled water for air conditioning or other cooling applications, this makes it a particularly interesting  solution in regions with air conditioning driven summer  electricity peaks, enables the usage of the surplus solar heat during the summer.
